Aldi Süd



In the planning and realization of the first pop-up bistro for the customers of Aldi-Süd, the continuation of the "simplicity principle" outside of the branches was the primary focus.

Eight stylishly converted shipping containers with a total of 90 square meters of space served as the location for the Aldi Süd Bistro at Cologne's media park. The simply and appealingly designed architecture combines industrial upcycling charm with modern details and comfort. The culinary concept also follows the principle of offering a set menu each day - always at the same price and always with fish, meat and vegetarian main course options. Alongside the development of the overall concept, the location research and construction approval, the culinary concept and operation of the bistro were also dealt with by VERTIKOM subsidiary Pop Up My Brand.
The menus were created with the help of TV and street food chef Robert Marx.
